Hello, atris users! We welcome any and all feedback.

Alizarin Tetris is a Tetris-like game with a twist for Unix, Win32 and BeOS systems. It includes multi-player support, user-extensible color, shape and sound styles, can use TCP/IP networking and features a few different AI opponents. It was written using the SDL Library.

Outside Information And Reviews

Here are some external reviews about Alizarin Tetris (most of which consider it to be abandonware).

Download

See our README file for information about downloading and installing the game. There are no big secrets, however, so you can just follow the instructions below according to your distribution preferences.

The game sound effects are packaged separately from the main game files because they are quite large. The sound effects are completely optional (although we recommmend them!). If you do install them, install them in the same manner (e.g., into the same directory) as you install the main package.

Documentation

A copy of the HTML Manual included with all of the distributions is available here. It includes a few screen-shots and explains key game concepts. You may find the Troubleshooting section very useful; we post updates about known bugs there. Finally, a set of Frequently Asked Questions is available.
