About
The purpose of this weblog is to record things I learn as they happen, momentous or trivial, lest they flit away like evanescent butterflies. I don’t like to lose things. I particularly don’t like to lose knowledge or skills. And for you, dear reader, there are two possible benefits: you may also learn something that you didn’t previously know – or, if I relate something that you’ve already encountered or acquired, you may revel in the warm blush of your superiority. Win/win!
And why focus on the acquisition of new knowledge and information? Well, as Eleanor Roosevelt put it:
When you stop learning you stop living in any vital and meaningful sense.
As I would live, I will therefore learn.
